People of [livejournal.com profile] about_faces...

I'm a man of few words. But those words will count.

Seriously, though, here's the deal: I'm running out of Two-Face scans to post and rant about. Oh, there's much more out there to mine, but right now, nothing really fires me up enough to devote several hours a week to scanning and writing. At least, not enough to derail me from the increasingly-pressing actual work that's coming up for me IRL.

I'll still be posting stuff, of course. Mainly news and comic/merch updates, plus whatever rants or essays come to mind. Now, I do have a couple months' worth of Two-Face Tuesdays ready to go, which you'll have already read if you've followed my personal LJ at [livejournal.com profile] thehefner. For the, like, three of you who haven't, congrats! You're in for a treat!

And again, if anyone has any requests, ideas, suggestions, please please please do not hesitate to pipe up!

That's about all from me. So onto Two-Face Tuesday, which will be a classic for most and a marvelous discovery for a few of you! Just remember: the night is always darkest before the dawn, and I am the Batman.

Today's post focuses on a forgotten gem is from TEEN TITANS SPOTLIGHT # 13 (1987), most notable for being the first-ever comic work of a TV animation writer named J. Michael Straczynski (known best to non-comic-fans as the guy who created BABYLON 5).

To this date, it's still one of the best little things he's ever written, in my own biased opinion. Furthermore, I consider it one of the very finest Harvey stories ever written.
