About thirty years too late, we finally get a Mego (style) Two-Face figure!

As with most figures that use actual cloth, the suit's rather bulky on him, but I think that just adds to the retro charm. The lighting here is a bit washed-out, so I'll be curious to see what the release product will look like.

It's just so very 70's, I almost wish they'd just given him a full-on Jim Aparo style white turtleneck instead of the tie!

Then there's this oddity, from the upcoming third series of Blammoids:

When I saw this in the solicits, I skimmed past, assuming that it'd be another one of those cheap mini figures like DC Direct's been trying every so often. But when the first wave of Blammoids arrived at the comic shop this week, I have to admit, they're pretty cool. Firestorm is most neat, followed by the one-two punch of Sinestro (with a magnificent mustache) and Hal Jordan, rocking Capt. Kirk hair. So while the above picture still doesn't exactly wow me, I will be very interested in seeing the actual figure.

In both cases, it's interesting to see toy designers going for the Bronze Age look: green scarred side and orange/purple split suit. All it's missing in a grid pattern on the purple half. I find it intriguing how that's still the iconic design of Two-Face for many.
