I'm gonna get this last one outta the way so I can focus on the big review of the Two-Face solo story from Batman: Streets of Gotham, which actually did end very differently than I was expecting. This whole story has given me much fodder for frowning contemplation for the past couple months, so hopefully you'll join me for the big airing out later tonight or tomorrow.

Until then, arts!

Matt Wagner. One of these days, I need to write about my frustrations with Wagner's Batman: Faces, a Two-Face story that should have starred the Penguin instead. But my complaints with Wagner's writing notwithstanding, I love his art, generally loving his Harvey, and I like this piece in particular. Definitely wanna commission a Wagner Two-Face of my own someday.

Kevin Maguire, master of facial expressions. I don't like his Two-Face here as much as in the Batgirl/Catwoman story he did in Batman Confidential, where he gave Harvey's two sides more dimension and character than they usually get. I could devote a whole post to that wonderful little cameo. I think I will, too.

Gabriel Hardman

Bruce Timm, giving him an angular look that reminds me of something, but damn if I can put my finger on what.

Steve Epting

Stewart Sayger, doing the closest we've yet seen to a Bill Sienkiewicz Two-Face.

Y'know what? I love this last one so much, I think it deserves to be outside of the cut. Your bandwidths will just have to deal.

Steve Lieber. This one's going on my all-time favorites collection.
